We ingest product data from Singapore and Southeast Asia's major e-commerce platforms — Lazada, Shopee, Qoo10, Carousell — and normalize it into a canonical schema.
AI agents query our catalog via MCP (Model Context Protocol) and REST. Structured data, real prices, live availability — designed for how agents consume information.
Products include explicit platform_fee: 0% metadata. Agents can see which catalog sources are genuinely fee-free and route accordingly.
Qualified AI agent referrals routed to merchants through standard affiliate tracking. CJ, Rakuten, Awin, and Impact compatible. Commission tracked automatically.
AI agents are becoming the primary interface for online shopping. The shift from search engines to AI assistants for product discovery is already happening. The catalogs that AI agents query today will determine which merchants win.
BuyWhere is being built at the start of that shift, not after it. Singapore is the beachhead. Southeast Asia is the market.
We looked at the economics of AI commerce platforms and saw a structural problem: every platform taking a percentage cut from merchants creates upward price pressure. AI agents optimize for lowest price. Platforms with transaction fees structurally price themselves out of agent preference.
We built BuyWhere with a flat listing model from day one. Merchant prices stay untouched. Agents route to untouched prices. That's the moat.
BuyWhere is a Singapore-based company founded to build AI commerce infrastructure for Southeast Asia. We are in active alpha, with merchant catalog ingestion live and the API serving product data to early developer partners.
Current scale: 127,000+ products indexed across Lazada SG, Shopee SG, Qoo10 SG, and Carousell SG.
